今天在UCLA上班，亲眼目睹了Roche公司的全自动检测设备，用于HBV、HCV和HIV：简单的样品处理、全自动的核酸提取、拿出核酸，放入检测仪器，等待几个时间，直接拿到结果，几乎不要多少操作过程，基本都由仪器完成了。太完美了.....

COBAS® AmpliPrep/COBAS® TaqMan® HCV Test
The COBAS® AmpliPrep/COBAS® TaqMan® HCV Test is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the quantitation of hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA in human plasma or serum using the COBAS® AmpliPrep Instrument for automated specimen processing and the COBAS® TaqMan® Analyzer or the COBAS®TaqMan®48 Analyzer for automated amplification and detection. The test is intended for use in conjunction with clinical presentation and other laboratory markers of HCV infection for the clinical management of patients with chronic HCV. The test can be used to assess the probability of a sustained viral response early in a course of antiviral therapy and to assess viral response to antiviral treatment as measured by changes in serum or plasma HCV RNA levels.

Dieser äusserst empfindliche Test bietet die vollautomatisierte Echtzeit-PCR-Technologie von Roche und erreicht so einen weiten dynamischen Bereich zum quantitativen Nachweis von Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV)-DNA im Plasma und Serum von Patienten. Der COBAS® AmpliPrep/COBAS® TaqMan® HBV Test, v2.0 kann zur Messung der HBV-DNA-Viruslast zu Beginn sowie während der Behandlung eingesetzt werden, um das Ansprechen auf die Therapie zu beurteilen. Mit dem Test können die Genotypen A–H sowie Prä-Core-Mutanten nachgewiesen werden. Das Testsystem bietet einen dynamischen Bereich, der die Vorgängertests an Weite übertrifft und von einem unteren Wert von nur 20 IE/ml bis zu einem oberen Wert von 1,7E+08 IE/ml reicht. So können Ärzte die Viruslast besser überwachen. Für die Untersuchung können sowohl Serum- als auch Plasmaproben verwendet werden, und das für den Test benötige Probenvolumen beträgt nur 650 μl.
