The laboratory of Shizhen Wang (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Shizhen_Wang4) is seeking postdoctoral researchers. My lab uses single molecule research tools, including single molecule fluorescence imaging and single channel patch clamp recording, to understand the gating and drug modulation of ion channel and transporter proteins. Candidates having protein biochemistry (including expression, purification, and membrane protein reconstitution) and biophysics backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Experience in optical imaging, patch clamp electrophysiology and Matlab program are preferred, but NOT required. My lab also welcomes exchange students or individuals who are interests in pursuing a PhD degree.
