出国需要等效学历认证？

国外老板的秘书给我发了函，要准备资料！请教各位高手，这个出国等效学历认证是个什么东西？

Credentialing Equivalency Statement

 A Credential equivalency statement indicating completion of the equivalent of a US bachelor's degree or higher is required.  Below are a couple of websites that can be used to obtain the credentialing (I believe it can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive it).  If your degree was obtained in the United States, this does not apply.  Also, if you have a previous credential equivalency statement, you can submit that one and do not have to request a new one.
