【经验】Plos ONE 投稿经历

确认PLoS ONE进入SCIE后，决定投稿。
首先要注册一个帐号：
http://one.plosjms.org/cgi-bin/main.plex
填General Information表，要注意的是Abstract要分成Background/Methodology/Principal Findings和Conclusions/Significance3个部分来写；另外，2个Preferred Academic Editor是必须选的（选了2个牛人，相信牛人！）；更值得注意的是3个Suggested Reviewers to Include竟然也要填才能继续（选了1大陆1香港和1美国，都是熟人，没说不能填熟人）。
上传文件说是WORD和LATEX都可行，但事实上只接受WORD和PDF。WORD排公式怎么都不爽，因此用LETAX输出PDF格式投稿。

To comply with PloS ONE requirements, we need to clarify that you have permission from the orignal journal for these figures to be published under the open access creative commons attribution license - we will need written confirmation of this. PLoS publishes under an open access license. If you are able to provide written confirmation, then you must cite the orignal published source the manuscript was taken from.
2) Please amend either the abstract on the online submission form (via Modify Manuscript Data) or the abstract in the manuscript so that they are identical.
3) Please remove any reference to funding or funders from the Acknowledgements section of your manuscript file. If the paper is accepted, the acknowledgement will be clearly stated in the published paper, however, for review purposes, no funding or financial statements are permitted in the manuscript
Your manuscript has been placed back in the Author Approval Folder. Please log on to the PLoS ONE online journal management system at http://one.plosjms.org to access your manuscript.
To access the manuscript submission form and make changes to the title, abstract, financial disclosure statement, keywords and preferred academic editor field, scroll to the bottom of the manuscript page. Under the "Manuscript Tasks" heading, click the "Modify Manuscript Data" link. You will be directed to a page where you can edit the information in your manuscript submission form.
Once you have made the corrections listed above and are ready to submit your manuscript, please follow the "Approve Converted Files" link.
Please note that these changes have been requested to comply with submission guidelines and your manuscript will *not* be sent to review until you have fully adhered to our requests. Once your paper has been seen by an Editor we may return it to you for further information or amendments.

Many thanks for your attention to our above-mentioned submission.
We'll make the relevant changes to the second and third points accordingly. As to the first point, we did cite the results from the letter article in the manuscript, and among all XXX figures included in the manuscript, we used two figures (Fig. 1C and Fig. 5I) that are similar to two of the figures in the previous letter. But actually the measurement equipment and the subjects are not the same. In that case, maybe we don't need to get a written confirmation of permission from XXX? Please kindly let us know whether this would work out.

Thank you for your email. As the figures are not the same ones used in the original publication, then it is fine for us to move the manuscript forwards to review. We have asked the Academic Editor to assess the other issue regarding results.
