小鼠海马分区

The mouse hippocampus. The mouse hippocampus is conventionally divided into three functionally distinct cell layers with differences in intrinsic and extrinsic connectivity. Each cell layer is further subdivided into dorsal (d), intermediate (i), and ventral (v) subregions with unique functional roles. Ventral CA1 (vCA1) forms connections between the cortex and BLA to mediate adaptations to chronic and acute stress.
