是不是要上传原始数据

各位大佬帮忙看下，杂志回复“Please be informed that as the policy on the journal does state “Authors are required to make the data and materials supporting the results or analyses presented in their paper freely available.”
我们邮件把原始数据发了过去，编辑又发了一个同样内容的邮件。是我们理解错了吗，还是只需要声明下可以提供原始数据？
