Improving Digital Health Literacy for Gig and Platform Workers
People working in emerging forms of employment, including delivery riders and other platform workers, often face distinctive health challenges and may have limited access to reliable, relevant health guidance.
Since 2024, under the guidance of the China Federation of Internet Societies, DXY has worked with authoritative partners to deliver a public interest programme focused on improving digital health literacy among these communities.
Through accessible digital tools and tailored educational resources, the programme addresses areas such as physical fatigue, sleep and mental health, chronic disease prevention, nutrition, traffic safety and emergency response. It supports the goals of both Digital China and Healthy China while helping workers make better informed health decisions.
