Mean operative time was 113.5 minutes, and mean blood loss was 65 mL, while the mean length of hospital stay was 1.4 days. No complications and no cases of no non-union were reported on follow-up. Authors concluded that in the case of these new minimally invasive and percutaneous techniques for spine surgery, local anesthesia could be the anesthetic of choice and provide significant benefits.
