美国权威临床研究及统计学专家Robert Riffenburg等讲师带给您一个绝对不枯燥的统计学课程!

　　这是国际著名医学出版集团爱思唯尔（Elsevier）继2008年成功推出系列研讨会之后，基于医师需求调研推出的全新专题。

　　研讨会强调临床医师并非卫生统计师,因此不会涉及那些艰深的数学理论及统计软件的具体使用。专题将侧重于1）临床研究设计中的统计学应用 2）英文医学论文写作中的数据表达和诠释。研讨会将指导临床医师如何更好地与卫生统计专家合作完成及发表一个高质量的临床研究。

　　大量实例将是本研讨会的一大特色。这是由于研讨会的主要讲师均有多年临床研究及相关统计学工作、研究和授课的经验。

主要讲者：

Dr Robert H. Riffenburgh
Clinical Investigation Department, Naval MedicalCenterSan Diego

Dr. Riffenburgh provides advice on experimental design, statistical analysis, and scientific integrity on the approximately 140 new studies beginning each year at the NavalMedicalCenterSan Diego. He is former professor and Head, Dept. of Statistics, Univ. of Connecticut, and has been faculty at Va Tech., Univ. Hawaii, Univ. Maryland, Univ. CaliforniaSan Diego, San Diego State Univ., and in Leidin (The Netherlands).

He has been president of his own consulting firm and performed and directed operations research for the U.S. Government and NATO. He has consulted periodically on medical statistics throughout his career and full-time for the last eight years. He has received numerous awards and has published more than 125 professional papers.

He is the author of the world popular book “ Statistics in Medicine” published by Elsevier.

Prof Jin Pihuan 金丕焕教授

教授，博士生导师，长期致力于卫生统计学、计算机在医学上的应用和临床试验的教学与研究工作。

Professor Jin has been a teacher of health statistics since 1956 in Shanghai Medical University, and was a Ph.D candidate adviser and has many students with Ph.D or master degree.

He developed the first statistical package in China, the <POMS> in 1984, and translated the 5th edition of the software developed by WHO and CDC into Chinese which had been widely used all across China. He has also been involved in many professional activities; a member of the Scientific Program Committee of MEDINFO 89, a member of the Organizing Committee of the first China-Japan Medical Information symposium (1990), assumed Deputy Chairman of China Medical Informatics for more than ten years, he was the co-writer of the guideline of the first and second edition of the “Statistical Guideline”, the “Guideline of CSR Writing” and the draft of the “Guideline of CTD Writing” for the SFDA. He has been the General Manager of EPS China (a CRO) since its establishment in 2000.

Mr Richard Henderson

Head of Editorial and Production Team, Greater China, based in Elsevier Hong Kong

Richard Henderson is Managing Editor for English language projects, based in theElsevier office in Hong Kong. With a background in biological sciences, Richard hasmany years of experience working with the Editorial offices of the world's leadingjournal publishers. Since joining the Elsevier team in Greater China, he has worked on a variety of local journals and facilitated the publication of many authors in the region.

Richard is responsible for the English language communications for the Health Sciences market, including content development for CME projects, writing projects for journal submission and specialist medical communications.
